Is Revenge Too Sweet?
Sometimes I wonder if the fact that I don't feel bad is a sign that I am being corrupted. haha So plain and simple this guy I was dating left on a fishing boat for a couple weeks... just a few days into I get this message online from one of his girl... friends. Not gonna lie I thought AWESOME here comes the drama. To my surprise she was really nice.. as we started talking about the Bachelorette we discovered that we shared the same boyfriend. It's weird-- when I think that he has told her about me-- she tells me he told her that him and I no longer talk. Interesting. After some elevated talking, storytime, and deliberation on what to do-- we ended up pretty good friends. haha I think the hardest part is not being able to let him know how I feel. Though he really doesn't deserve that. So how do I process my anger? With some crazy roommate videos, eggs, and t.p as well as a witty little voicemail I'm sure he'll love to hear.:) It's been a few days now- I have a couple dates lined up, letters comin in, and finishin up the semester strong. I'm happy, work's never been better, and I feel rejuvenated for the next couple weeks till I get back to Oregon! AMEN

6 States 6 Days

Just got back from an AWESOME weekend in Yellowstone! We got to see a couple Bison super close up and no thanks to me a few chipmunks eating our breakfast watermelon. haha I couldn't let them go hungry.. so I just turned a blind eye. We made a few wrong turns and ended up seeing Roosevelt's Tower, and an old Army Fort. Old Faithful was definitely a hit even though we waited around for over an hour, she was quite the tease. Every time we thought she was going to go off she'd just simmer down. Nevertheless, it was worth the wait.. all good things are:) Ive been to 6 states in 6 days. Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, California, and Montana. I'm exhausted! Can't wait to just kick back. I was in Tahoe last week for a family reunion-- that was amazing. I never knew Nevada could look like that. haha so many memories! I was walking around Truckee with my brother when my dress caught the wind! Of coarse there had to be contruction workers near by. As I started blushing and tried to gain control of my dress my brother turns around and YELLS, mind you yells, "What's UP MARILYN!?" I guess that's what brothers are for. I'm not easily embarrassed but that got me. haha It was a Fan-tastic week. Boating, sun, and family.
